Well folks, after a lengthy hiatus to recharge the batteries, and look for ways to improve what we bring to the public, we have finally gotten back on the horse, refreshed and ready to charge into the future of training the average citizen in the efficient use of their defensive firearms. Time to strap back on the gun belt, press check and stay tuned folks…….Look for new, weekly content from us for the rest of 2016, and beyond!

New to us in 2016, is a new instructor, Adam Litke…… Adam is an accomplished Pistol and Rifle Instructor in his own right, having owned an operated Shield and Sword Academy out of Ashtabula County, Ohio, for many years. Adam and I came into the world of Defensive Pistol craft together, and not only is he well versed in this type of training, having taught and attended some for the best courses available, but has extensive experience in the 3-Gun arena as an organizer and competitor as well. We are stoked to have him join our team, and the ceiling for excellent training is stratospheric for the future!

We have been able to add two upcoming courses for the Summer…..CFCE on June 18, 2016 and our newest offering, A.D.A.P.T., or Advanced Defensive Application Pistol Training, on July 10th, 2016. This course is the result of several months of evaluations of what the next evolution of Defensive Pistol training SHOULD be, and that is training that culminates in the application of the skills learned about dynamic/deadly encounters in a LIVE environment with non-lethal simulated firearms. The class is designed to completely push you out of your comfort zone of A-Zone hits and pretty little groups at designed cadences with real world scenarios that you might encounter everyday as you move from one environment to another. If you want to see where your skill level stacks up when all of your chips are at stake, we feel this course will answer your questions of “Am I really ready???” and much more! Head over to our Courses page for more info and to get signed up.

Also, we leave Friday for a much anticipated trip to the great state of Indiana to help a congregational group of churches become better prepared to protect their parishioners. This is a great step for groups like this to be taking charge of their own protection within a house of worship, and we are honored that they chose US  for their training needs. Let it be known…..we will travel to wherever there is a want of good training and believe wholeheartedly that the information we share is of utmost importance to get out to the folks who want it.

We hope that you who follow us haven’t gone too far away. We’re excited to be back…

Be on the lookout for the first installment of a two-part article on something very close to home….the issues involved with Temporary and Civil Protection Orders; how lately they have unfortunately failed some people in the US catastrophically , and how your self-defense in a situation like this is something you need to take charge of because that piece of paper is just that. If you or a loved one is involved with a situation like this, we hope you take away the importance of securing your own safety within the confines of the law.

As always, stay safe and take care of your fellow man….Chance Favors the Prepared!
